I've loved photography for almost as long as I can remember. I started taking photos as a kid back in the...ahem...film days. I went on to study photography at the University of Arizona (Go Cats!) blacking out the windows of my apartment and using my bathroom as a make-shift darkroom. Years later, I was happy to embrace the days of digital - no more messy chemicals and my bathtub is back to living its best life as, well, a bathtub.
Even though I loved photography, to be honest, the self-conscious part of me didn't really love being in photos. Then, my amazing nephews came along. I found myself so crazy for those boys that wanting to have photos of us together overpowered my hang ups about being in front of the camera. And boy am I glad, because those moments go by so fast!
So whether you are a selfie superstar, or are a little hesitant about getting in front of the camera, my mission is to offer a relaxed, stress-free and fun session for you. Thanks for stopping by - I hope we get to work together soon!

Yes, I'm one of those people who think of their dogs as people. Pretty sure I failed all of the lessons from the dog whisperer. Who cares? I'm ok with spoiling these little guys. They would want me to make sure you know they aren't the kind of chihuahuas that let you dress them up in little outfits and carry them around in your purse. These guys are convinced they are the biggest dogs on the block. Woof!
These are my favorite birds of all time.
Small but mighty, hummingbirds can fly in any direction, up/down - zig zagging in any way they need. They're hard workers but take the time to sing.
Living in beautiful Prescott, Arizona, I'm lucky to be able to head outside, enjoy a sunset and wait for the stars to appear one by one. I love traveling and photographing the night sky against dramatic landscapes like this one at Meteor Crater.
